Today classes are slightly shorter due to FLEX so we have a lot to do.
Using another tab in Internet Explorer, access your Voicethread. The one from yesterday should be there. See what your classmates have said and commented on.
Open your notes from the other day with the 5 Questions we discussed in them.
Come back here and access this new Voicethread.
Today you will be commenting on the Voicethread using a Microphone. The Microphones are in the box at the back of the room. Get one, plug it into the Microphone stop and make sure your volume is NOT on mute.
Now when you select comment you can choose record. You are going to record a response to one of the five questions from the notes. Make sure it is clear what question you are answering. Post and return the microphone.
Work on your Blog Post from yesterday if you did not finish it and email it to me.

Welcome to Media Analysis
There are going to be many things we are going to do in this class. This blog site is going to be your place to come for various assignments and projects. Please make sure to add this web address (http://ferrismediaanalysis@blogspot.com) to your favorites for easy reference.
Today is all about you and your media.
First, follow this link to the Voicethread I created for this class. You may need to log into your Voicethread. Listen for the instructions to comment.
Next, go to www.blogger.com and CREATE A BLOG. For this you will need your email and a password (I would add this to your password list).
For a Display Name please use your first name or a nick name. For the Blog Title, make sure it has something to do with media and is NOT John Smith (do not use your first and last name together in this ever). For the Blog address, it can be anything you want.
Log into your blog. Write 1-2 paragraphs (5-7 sentences each) about how you feel about the media and how you use it.
Once you are done with this you must email me with a link to your blog. To do this:
**Have both your blog and your email open
**Compose a new email to ferrer01@southredford.net (you cannot just click on this link)
**Go back to your blog
**Click VIEW BLOG
**Copy the web address for your blog (http://_________.blogspot.com/) into the email
**Hit send
**I will save it, give you credit for it and check your first post all at once so this is worth TWO grades.
If you finish early work on your profile in blogger. Make sure to not use your whole first name or where you live. Keep yourself safe.
